I, Tony Hernandez, author of this website, am guilty of paying attention to Family Radio's prediction of May 21, 2011 as the possible day of the return of Christ. The fact that I was adamant on this page that I didn't endorse it as absolute fact is no excuse. Anyone who read this page might have been mislead. I wanted to cover this base just in case it happened to be right, as I had no ability to either verify or refute this prediction. I, to a degree, trusted in Mr. Camping, even if I was open to other possibilities. I offer the following as a condemnation of my actions in his matter, however slight those actions might be:
1 Corinthians 5:6 Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
I was wrong to consider this and to leave it here for others' potential deception. It was self righteous of me to think that it was okay to put Mr. Camping's prediction on this site just because I acknowledged that it might be wrong. That, in fact, should have stopped me from putting it on here. God is speaking plainly when he says:
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
May God forgive me, and may you forgive me if you're reading this and have been aided in believing a lie through my hands. The crux of the matter concerning the timing of the return of Christ is this:
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Thoroughly ashamed,
Antonio (Tony) Hernandez
